I watched and read several tutorials before finally deciding that I'd give it a try. I think the nigh important question to consider is why you lot want to reborn. Many folks go into it because they only desire a reborn doll and don't want to pay $500+ for it when they can become a bare vinyl kit for $forty. If your motivation is to save coin, unfortunately, you will be disappointed. I spend $150 - $200 on just raw materials for virtually of my dolls, not counting the toll of paint, supplies and equipment. And information technology is rare (though not impossible!) that your very first doll volition wait as skilful as the i you saw and fell in love with on the internet. Many artists who have Reborned with Me successfully used air dry paints. Some brands of air dry paints are designed such that the colors translate straight to Genesis equivalents. For others, you lot may have to eyeball which color is closest to what I'yard using. But the color theory and painting techniques are the same. I accept made 2 dolls and so far and I think they are pretty skilful but, I take seen others that look super real. I have watched many youtube videos and I am a picayune confused on the order of painting. Some of the videos exercise veins first and some do a basecoat. Some do creasing first ans some do them at the cease. Can you tell me what is the difference? Too how do you make them look more realistic? Is it past how many coats of Mottling you do? Information technology was that I couldn't raising seven as a single mom. Older now lol. I watched a video and got defenseless upwardly and $500 afterwards, doing my 1st doll now. I rapidly felt I was over my head (confidence I lack at times), I just needed more than time and explanations. I wish I saw your videos before that one. And so did the course I paid for, but its all genesis in the modules and videos. And really fast through them.
